Candles by Sarah Louise was created in honor of our
great-grandmother, Sarah Louise, a woman defined by strength,
resilience, and an unwavering spirit of love and compassion. She was a creator
at heart, known for sewing and making her own clothes, as well as crafting
garments for those around her. With limited resources but limitless care, she
created beauty, comfort, and dignity through her hands.

Our journey began with literally 8 bottles of handcrafted body
butter and then soaps, inspired by that same tradition of creating with
intention and care. As our creativity evolved, it naturally led us to candle
making, another way to bring warmth and meaning into everyday spaces. What
started as small mason jar candles sold at local farmers markets soon grew into
a passion for experimenting with unique vessels, including larger statement
pieces in a variety of shapes, colors, and textures.

These thoughtfully designed candles quickly became customer
favorites, admired for their visual beauty, affordability, and charm. Each
candle we pour is a reflection of Sarah Louise’s legacy, handcrafted with care,
rooted in creativity, and made to bring warmth, balance, and beauty into every  home.
